FULL-SERVICE GREER OFFICE OPENS TODAY
Upstate, SC -- November 20, 2006 -- One of South Carolina’s fastest growing community banks arrived in Greer this morning! CommunitySouth Bank & Trust officially opened its new Greer branch at 530 West Wade Hampton Boulevard today, its fifth full-service office in the Upstate and third to open this year.
“We are very excited about our entry into Greer, one of the Upstate’s fastest growing communities,” said C. Allan Ducker, III, Chief Executive Officer of CommunitySouth. “Our goal is to be the community bank of choice in the Upstate, and Greer is a key location in that geographic footprint.”
While the Bank officially opened its Greer office today, CommunitySouth has had a presence in Greer since the Bank opened in January 2005.
“We already have a number of customers in Greer which have been serviced through our Spartanburg office and our free business courier service,” said David A. The new branch will be staffed with experienced, local bankers. The office will be overseen by Greer native Wayne McKinney, Senior Vice President and City Executive for Greer and Spartanburg markets. McKinney, who has more than 26 years of banking experience, has been with CommunitySouth since July 2005. Greer native April Bridwell will serve as Vice President and Branch Manager of the new office, and has over 10 years of banking experience.

The branch is open six days a week with both early morning and late evening hours, including Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
