The Spartanburg Humane Society, founded in 1964, is a non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to the promotion of animal welfare throughout Spartanburg and the surrounding areas. The goals of the Spartanburg Humane Society are to find loving homes for homeless pets, educate the public in proper animal care, especially the neutering of pets, and to prevent cruelty to animals. All the Humane Society’s programs are directed toward these goals.
